Update

Well, sorry that I haven't posted much about anything. I have come down with a case of PUPPPS which is driving me out of my mind. It typically happens during pregnancy but one in 100,000 get lucky like me and get it after the birth. I am covered from my neck to the soles of my feet in welts that itch like crazy. I have seen the Dr and done research but it looks like there is no cure but to wait until it goes away and no one can put a time frame on it. If anyone knows a miracle cure, please feel free to share!

More Baby Stuff

I just got my Maya Baby Wrap in the mail today. I don't know why I am so excited about this thing, but I think it is my favorite baby item we have purchased. It just seems like it will be great to be able to carry baby around and be close but still have the freedom of my hands and arms. I hope it works as well as I am envisioning!

Anyone for more muffins?

It seems like the only thing I can do recently is cook without getting too tired. I guess I do it to make sure my husband knows I still love him even though all I seem to do is sit and complain about being uncomfortable with this huge belly. So, today I made some more muffins; this time peanut butter - banana muffins. I modified the recipe slightly by making it 2 full cups of flour, 1 and a half tsp baking soda and a quarter tsp baking powder as I have found this is necessary for the muffins to rise properly in my humidity and high altitude. I also added some oats to half of the batch for kicks. Mom says these were her favorites so far. Really, really moist and delicious!
